The Buffalo Bills will end up making some tough decisions this coming offseason but they need to do all they can to keep these three pending free agents

The Buffalo Bills have had a successful season so far in 2019. They haven’t been perfect but they’re in the race for the AFC East title and are currently in the top Wild Card spot with a 9-3 record.

Their most recent win came on the big stage as they were in AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving Day to play against the Dallas Cowboys. This was a game Dallas was expected to win and they even jumped out to a 7-0 lead.

It was all Buffalo after that as they ended up winning 26-15 — and it really wasn’t even as close as the score made it look.

They’ve been able to win this season the same way they won in Dallas, by stifling the opposing offense. Buffalo was all over the Cowboys and kept Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott, and Amari Cooper from beating them. On offense, they sustained long drives and kept their defense fresh.

There’s still a lot of football left to play and we don’t know how the Bills will finish. What we do know is they have a few players set to hit free agency when the year is over. Here, we look at the three main ones that need to be retained.

Notable omission: Frank Gore

Frank Gore has been a solid contributor this season. He’s a power back that has 552 yards on the year. He’s one of the best to ever play the game but he will be 37 next season.

Bringing him back wouldn’t be a bad idea at all — especially since he has no problem working in a committee. The only question is whether or not he wants to play in 2020.
