Josh Allen has been proving critics wrong this whole season and his teammate, Micah Hyde, thinks the Buffalo Bills quarterback is only scratching the surface

Coming into the NFL out of Wyoming last season, quarterback Josh Allen had more than his share of doubters. The Buffalo Bills were not among those who didn’t think he could succeed in the NFL, which is why they took him at No. 7 overall.

So far, it looks as though they were right to gamble on the young signal-caller. Allen and the Bills are riding high right now with a record of 9-3. They’re also fresh off a huge win on the national stage as they beat up on the Dallas Cowboys in their annual Thanksgiving Day game.

That win may have convinced many to jump on the Allen train, but for Buffalo safety Micah Hyde, he and the team were already all-in on No. 17. Hyde was recently on the Jim Rome Show and said that the team loves Allen.

Rome introduced Hyde and commented that the safety once said Allen “could be one of the best quarterbacks in the league.” Then he asked Hyde to describe the quarterback and why the team believes in him.

Hyde said the team will “ride or die with him” and added that he plays with his own style.

"“He’s not trying to be anybody else.” Then he added, “that’s why we love him.”"

After the win over Dallas, Allen is now 14-9 as the starter for the Bills. He’s also made huge strides from his rookie season as he jumped from completing 52.8 percent of his passes last year to 61.5 this season. He’s also been better at protecting the ball as he has twice as many touchdowns (16) as interceptions (8).

Allen is also dangerous on the ground. As a rookie, he had 631 yards rushing and eight touchdowns. This year he has another eight touchdowns and 430 yards on the ground.

He may not fit in the stereotypical pocket quarterback box, but that’s part of what makes Allen fun to watch. And it’s also why teammates such as Hyde love him so much.
