There is no question that the New England Patriots, with or without Antonio Brown, is the NFL’s best team. While the caliber of opponents they have faced isn’t stellar with wins over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets, the way they have won has been impressive.
While Tom Brady and this offense gets the majority of the credit, the thing that should give fans pause rooting against the Patriots is their defense. This is an impressive group that is only allowing 5.7 points per game, has not given up an offensive touchdown yet this year and leads the league in sacks (13) and interceptions (6).
If the Buffalo Bills are able to pull off the upset on Sunday against the Patriots it will certainly speak volumes for the team they have and were they stand within the AFC.
