The Buffalo Bills move to 2-0 at MetLife Stadium with a 28-14 victory over the New York Giants.
The game for the Buffalo Bills was much different from their first trip to MetLife Stadium but the result was the same as they came away with a win. Unlike Week 1, when the Bills fell behind 16 points to the New York Jets to come back and win 17-16, the Bills scored 21 straight points to go up 21-7 en route to a 28-14 victory over the New York Giants.
The opening drive likely gave Bills fans pause as the Giants drove right down the field thanks to Saquon Barkley, who had 55 rushing yards on four carries, to go 7-0. The two teams then traded three and outs before it was the Bills turn to get on the scoreboard.
The big play on that touchdown drive was a 26-yard pass from Josh Allen to Isaiah McKenzie to get the Bills to the 22 yard line. A few plays later it was Josh Allen getting into the end zone with a run to the right side from six yards out.
The Bills offense added two more touchdowns on consecutive drives, with a 14 yard touchdown run from rookie Devin Singletary and then Isaiah Mckenzie took a pitch in from 14 yards out.
After a four turnover performance against the Jets, Josh Allen did a much better job protecting the football and finished the game with no turnovers against the Giants. He finished with 253 passing yards, 21 rushing yards and a touchdown through the air and on the ground.
Meanwhile, the Bills defense settled down after the Giants opening drive and held the Eli Manning led offense to one touchdown the rest of the game. The Giants quarterback threw for 250 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions.
The Buffalo Bills will finally return to New Era Stadium for their first home game of the season when they face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
