The Buffalo Bills rule out two ahead of their Week 2 matchup against the New York Giants.

The Buffalo Bills will be entering Week 2 fairly healthy with only two players ruled as out: kick returner Andre Roberts and nickel Taron Johnson. This isn’t too much a surprise for the Bills as neither player practiced at all this week. Roberts has been dealing with a quad injury since the first practice of the season.

Meanwhile, Johnson suffered the hamstring injury during the game against the Jets. He was replaced against Siran Neal in the game against the Jets and will likely step into the starting lineup for Johnson.

The only other player on the injury report for the Bills was Tyler Kroft, who is working his way back from a broken foot suffered into OTAs. He has been a limited participant all week and it is surprising to see him designated as questionable.

The Buffalo Bills will likely be cautious with him since this is the second time he has broken that foot and it would be surprising if he suits up this week. The return of Kroft will be a nice boost for this offense with the team currently relying on Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney, both rookies.

The good news for the Bills is that cornerback Levi Wallace was a full participant. He went down with an ankle injury during practice yesterday but was able to return on Friday. There is no reason to think he will be limited against the Giants and should start.

In addition to Wallace, wide receiver Cole Beasley was a full participant after missing practice on Thursday. He missed practice on Thursday due to an illness but returned on Friday. Similarly to Beasley, Jordan Phillips missed practice on Wednesday due to illness but was back on Thursday.
