Siran Neal

The Bills are likely going to be without Taron Johnson for this game, their starting nickel, due to a hamstring injury suffered against the Jets. This means that Siran Neal will likely get the start in place of Johnson.

Neal was a safety who has spent time this preseason at nickel and has played well in the transition. The Jets attacked this matchup last week with Jamison Crowder who had 14 receptions but Johnson and Neal did a great job keeping the Jets’ receiver in front of them and held him to only 7.1 yards per reception.

There are questions about if Sterling Shepard will be available Sunday against the Bills but if he is expect the coaching staff to move him into the slot to target Neal.
