Josh Allen

There is no one more important for the Buffalo Bills in this game than quarterback Josh Allen. The second year quarterback had a disasterous start to the game against the New York Jets with four turnovers on the first six drives. These weren’t necessarily all his fault and could be attributed to some bad luck but the team can’t afford to fall in a similar hole in Week 2.

However, outside of the turnovers, Allen actually played well in the regular season opener. He had 254 passing yards, with an additional 38 yards on the ground, and two touchdowns.

The focus this offseason has been to develop Allen as a passer and working from the pocket. This would be the perfect game to show that improvement against a below average pass defense.
