Stock Up: John Brown

One of the top performances from Week 1 for the Buffalo Bills was wide receiver John Brown. The former Baltimore Raven was considered to just be a deep threat receiver but through preseason, and especially against the Jets, he has shown to be a more well-rounded receiver.

Against the Jets, Brown had seven receptions, 123 receiving yards and one touchdown, which was the game winner for the Bills. That touchdown play really demonstrates not only Brown but the connection he has with Josh Allen. While Brown has the speed to run by most defenders in the NFL, Allen was able to throw the ball to his back shoulder and Brown was able to adjust to the ball and come back for the reception.

It is clear, almost from the open of training camp, that Brown has stepped into the role as top receiver in this offense. The play against the Jets only confirmed that belief.
