These are our grades for each position group for the Buffalo Bills based on their performance against the New York Jets.

After a long offseason, training camp and preseason, the Buffalo Bills rewarded their fans with a 17-16 comeback win over the division rival New York Jets. The first three quarters of the game were painful to watch, especially when the offense was on the field.

The Bills offense had four turnovers, one of them returned for a touchdown, and a safety. While they were able to move the ball pretty easily, they could not get past making mistakes that cost them the chance to put points on the board.

Meanwhile, it was the defense that picked up the slack left by the offense. They were able to do their jobs and keep the game close. They held the Jets’ offense to only one touchdown and really gave Adam Gase a challenge in his first game as the Jets’ head coach.

We break down the performance of each position group and hand out our grades based on their play in Week 1.
