The 2019 season is going to be crucial for these four Buffalo Bills players to show what there true potential is.

In the NFL, time is of the essence with the average career for a player being 3.3 years. This does not leave much room for error and it is important to prove on the field what a player can do early. This is certainly the case for some players on the Buffalo Bills this season.

This is an organization that looks like it is trending in the right direction and the team is looking for those players they can build around and rely on moving forward. There is four Bills in particular that this season is critical in their career and to prove they belong in Buffalo for the long term.

All four of these players were drafted by the Bills and some are closing in on the final years of their rookie contract. The front office will need to make a decision about who fits with this team and if they want to extend or offer new deals once their current contracts expire. If this were to happen, these players would need to show they can consistently play at a high level.

We start the list with a former first round pick entering the final year of his contract…
