Quarterback

Josh Allen, Matt Barkley

The Buffalo Bills are set at the quarterback position, and have been for most of training camp and preseason. The expectation was that the team would have two quarterbacks on the roster with Josh Allen as the starter and Matt Barkley as the backup.

This a stark contrast from this time last year. The Bills not only weren’t sure who would be the starter, which eventually went to Nathan Peterman for their Week 1 match up against the Baltimore Ravens, but they also just traded away their backup A.J. McCarron before the start of the season.

The stability at the position is certainly a strength for the Buffalo Bills and the coaching staff should be much more confident with the quarterbacks they have on the roster.
