Buffalo Bills: Players to watch against the Minnesota Vikings
Darryl Johnson
The seventh round pick has had a great preseason so far with sacks in each of the first two preseason games. He also played nearly half the game against the Detroit Lions, finishing with two tackles and one QB hit.
The top of the depth chart is set at the defensive end position with Jerry Hughes, Trent Murphy and Shaq Lawson but at this point int he preseason there is no reason not to assume that Johnson would be the next defensive end in this group.
He has shown great burst and an ability to get after the quarterback. The coaching staff could use him during the regular season in certain passing downs that allows him to play to this strength and just focus on getting after the quarterback.
Darryl Johnson should see significant playing time in this game against the Vikings and wouldn’t be surprising to see him have a big game.
