Punter

The battle between Corey Bojorquez and Cory Carter for the starting punting job has been lackluster to say the least. Neither punter has really separated themselves and the Bills decision may come down to which one is healthy.

Carter was forced to miss Friday night’s game with a quad injury and will need to be available Thursday night against the Vikings if he hopes to remain in contention.

As for Bojorquez, he was the team’s only punter against the Lions and had five punts, averaging 47.2 yards per punt with only one downed inside the 20. He also has a slight edge as he has been the team’s primary holder on field goal attempts.

The likely scenario for the Buffalo Bills will be that they will be looking at free agents after the initial roster cuts throughout the NFL with neither player standing out this preseason. However, we will make our prediction based on the players currently on the roster.

Prediction: Corey Bojorquez wins the starting job
