Run Game still the strength of this offense

The biggest positive takeaway from the starting offense is that this run game for the Buffalo Bills is going to be tough for opposing defenses to stop. The Bills had 126 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns in the first half, while averaging seven yards per carry.

It was the duo of Frank Gore and LeSean McCoy that led the way with 57 rushing yards and 37 rushing yards respectively. Both running backs showed some burst as well with each having a run over 20 yards.

While Gore and McCoy are older backs, this combination could actually work well. The fact that neither will be expected to shoulder most of the rushing load can keep them fresh through out the season and be more effective.
