How does Cody Ford play and where?

The offensive line once again is the focus but more specifically, the rookie Cody Ford is the key this week. The Buffalo Bills only have two weeks left to determine what their starting offensive line looks like and the one piece that has been moved around the most is the second round draft pick.

Ford has seen substantial time at both right tackle and right guard. He started training camp at tackle before moving inside to guard but a knee injury for Ty Nsekhe has forced him once again outside to tackle. This is the position he started the game at against the Carolina Panthers and will likely play there again if Nsekhe is not healthy enough to go against the Lions.

The performance to date for Ford has been a bit lackluster but this is understandable considering how much he has had thrown at him by having to learn essentially two positions. A strong performance against the Lions would be good to see from a rookie that has shown flashes of promise.
