Defensive Line

Trent Murphy, Ed Oliver, Star Lotulelei, Jerry Hughes, Shaq Lawson, Jordan Phillips, Harrison Phillips, Darryl Johnson

Cut: Roedrick Young, Kyle Peko, L.T. Walton, Eddie Yarbrough, Sam Acho, Mike Love

The surprise in this group has to be Darryl Johnson, who has had an impressive start with sacks in each of the first two preseason games. It isn’t so much a surprise that he would make the roster but the fact that he is playing his way into what should be some regular snaps once the games start to matter.

The play of Johnson has pushed Eddie Yarbrough onto the roster bubble and likely will be one of the team’s final cuts.

As for defensive tackle, the Bills will likely only keep four on the roster which means Kyle Peko and Roedrick Young will likely be looking for a new team to start the season.
