The Buffalo Bills remained undefeated this preseason with a 27-14 victory over the Carolina Panthers. These were the top takeaways from Friday night.

The Buffalo Bills made it look easy in Charlotte as they jumped out to a 17 point lead and didn’t give the Carolina Panthers much chance to get to get back into it en route to a 27-14 victory. While the Panthers held out a number of key players, which could have played a factor in the outcome, it is hard to take away from what the Bills were able to do.

The first-team offense was clicking as they scored a field goal and touchdown on their two opening drives with Josh Allen leading the way with 102 passing yards. Meanwhile, the defense did exactly what they needed to do by overpowering the Panthers’ offense holding Kyle Allen to only 4 of 11 for 32 yards.

However, it was team effort as the first, second, and third-teams all played well against the Carolina Panthers.

The performance on Friday night by the Buffalo Bills was great to see as it was a continuation of two strong joint practices with the Panthers earlier in the week and a good showing against the Indianapolis Colts the week prior.

Let’s take a look back at the game against the Carolina Panthers and what key takeaways can be taken from that game for the Buffalo Bills.
