Will Cody Ford remain at right guard?

The Bills’ coaching staff appeared to get an idea of what their starting offensive line will look like to start the regular season. For most of camp and preseason, Dion Dawkins and Quinton Spain have been the starting left tackle and left guard respectively.

While Mitch Morse has missed most of training camp due to a concussion, his place as the starting center has never really been in question. If he is healthy, he will be the starter.

The right side has been a bit of a work in progress but against the Colts, the Bills went with rookie Cody Ford at guard and Ty Nsekhe at tackle. However, Ford started training camp at right tackle but with injuries mounting, the team moved him inside. These five players looked to give the offense their best line.

However, in the Bills final joint practice against the Panthers, Ford once again went back outside to tackle and Spencer Long played right guard. Ty Nsekhe did not participate in the team drills but it doesn’t appear to be due to an injury.

If Ford starts the game at right guard, it would be safe to say that offensive line looks set but moving him to tackle will raise some uncertainty.
