The Buffalo Bills had eight rookies take the field for the first time in their NFL career against the Indianapolis Colts. This is how they faired on Thursday night at New Era Field.

The Buffalo Bills drafted eight players this past April, led by defensive tackle Ed Oliver in the first round. The past few months for the coaching staff has been focused on getting these players up to speed, both in terms of knowing the playbook and just how fast an NFL game is.

On Thursday night, these players got their first real taste of NFL play when the Buffalo Bills beat the Indianapolis Colts 24-16. The team was able to get seven of their eight of draft picks playing time, including two players who saw time with the starters (Ed Oliver and Cody Ford). The only rookie not to play was tight end Dawson Knox, who is dealing with a hamstring injury.

We take a look at how each rookie for the Buffalo Bills performed against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night.
