Buffalo Bills: Players to watch against Indianapolis Colts

Tommy Sweeney
Aside from the offensive line, the tight end position may be the hardest hit by injuries this summer. The team has been without Tyler Kroft, Jason Croom and Dawson Knox for most of training camp and they are left with limited options.
However, one of those options, Tommy Sweeney, has taken advantage of his opportunity and has looked good in practice as noted by Matt Parrino.
Get to know Tommy Sweeney’s name. He’s been great since Dawson Knox’s injury. Toughness on display again just now making a big grab on a 20-yd ball from Allen while being double covered by Dean Marlowe and Matt Milano. #Bills

Sweeney was a seventh round draft pick by the Bills out of Boston College. At the time it seemed a bit of a luxury pick with them already drafting Dawson Knox and signing Tyler Kroft. However, if Sweeney continues to flash during the preseason like he has in camp, he could be in line for significant snaps by the regular season rolls around.
