The Buffalo Bills saw another offensive tackle leave practice early as LaAdrian Waddle was carted off the practice field on Sunday.

The injuries continue to pile up for the Buffalo Bills along the offensive line. After starting the practice without Mitch Morse, John Feliciano and Spencer Long, they saw offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle carted off the practice field.

According to ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques, it appears Waddle suffered an injury to his right knee.

The veteran offensive tackle was entering his eight season in the league, but his first with the Bills. Waddle signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2013 and spent the first three years in the league with the Lions. He played in 30 games but started 24 games during his time with the Lions.

However, the last four were with the New England Patriots, where he won two Super Bowls and started seven games over the past two seasons.

The experience Waddle brings to this team would have been invaluable as a backup tackle. He has shown that he can step in at a moment’s notice, like he did the past two seasons in place of Marcus Cannon, and still produce at a high level.

The Bills’ front office focused heavily on the offensive line this offseason and that depth will be challenged early. As mentioned before, the team was already down three players (Morse, Feliciano, and Long) who all has seen time with the starting offensive line this camp.

The mounting injuries for the offensive line will challenge a coaching staff that has been trying to find out which combination would be the best for the Buffalo Bills once the regular season rolls around. Hopefully, the injury for LaAdrian Waddle is not too serious and he is able to get back to practice sooner rather than later.
