Wide Receiver

Last season, Robert Foster was a bright spot for the Buffalo Bills and had a big impact down the stretch on this offense. However, if the first practice is any indication he will have his work cut out for him to crack the starting lineup.

According to Joe Buscaglia, the team’s starting wide receivers were Zay Jones and John Brown with Cole Beasley in the slot for almost the entire practice.

The question then becomes, “Where does this leave Foster?”.

The Bills have a lot more talent at the position than a season ago and the addition of Brown and Beasley in free agency gives the team more opportunities to run four or even five wide receiver sets. Hopefully, the coaching staff though doesn’t forget about Foster and limits his time to those formations because he was one player who could really breakout in his second season with the Buffalo Bills.
