Derrick Shelby, Defensive End

If there is one position that could derail this defense it is at defensive end. Veteran Jerry Hughes is the unquestioned leader and Shaq Lawson is coming off his best season in his career in the NFL. They also have Trent Murphy and Eddie Yarbourgh to rotate into the lineup.

However, if Lawson regresses or if Murphy is not able to stay healthy, which unfortunately has been a trend in his career, this position group could use some additional depth.

Derrick Shelby, is a seven-year veteran, who spent the first four years in Miami and the last three with the Atlanta Falcons. The competition to find good pass rushers is always tough and at this point, there isn’t much out there.

This is why a player like Shelby, who has starting experience, would be a nice player for the Buffalo Bills to add to this position group.
