Caesars Palace recently updated their 2019-20 NFL playoff odds; where do the Buffalo Bills stand?

The Buffalo Bills — despite a productive off-season — still don’t have the hearts of oddsmakers and gamblers in Las Vegas. Bleacher Report recently unveiled Caesars Palace’s updated playoff odds, with Buffalo not yet earning the trust of those betting big.

Currently, the Bills are sitting at +425 to make the playoffs; the same as the Denver Broncos’ and Detroit Lions’, and just ahead of the new-look Oakland Raiders. Those odds sit at the 23rd best in the NFL.

The New England Patriots, fresh off yet another Super Bowl win, are the leaders for all teams heading into 2019, with -850 odds. As for the rest of the AFC East, the New York Jets are just ahead of the Bills at +325, while the Miami Dolphins are at +1200; the worst in the NFL.

These odds will continue to fluctuate as the season nears. The Bills’ stock could continue to rise considering their rebuilt roster, Josh Allen expecting to take a jump, and competitiveness since the arrival of Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane. As for the rest of the East, Vegas likely got it right.

The Patriots are, of course, the lock — it’d be as surprising as a midnight Paul George blockbuster trade to see them out of the playoffs. As for the Jets, with Le’Veon Bell and other expensive acquisitions in-store, they are expected to take a massive leap. To round it out are the Dolphins, who appear all-in on the 2020 NFL Draft, perhaps to get Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa.
