6. Senorise Perry

Maybe more famous for being the first Bill to wear No. 32 since O.J. Simpson did, than his play, Senorise Perry hasn’t done much work on offense in the league. But, it’s doubtful that the Bills signed him to do that. He’s a noted special teams specialist and has done so for three teams since going undrafted in 2014.

That’s not a bad thing. Adding good special teamers is always good business in the NFL. The same goes with the Bills and Perry. Like Wade, Perry offers the versatility of playing gunner or returner. Unlike Wade, he’s actually done it in the NFL.

If he does make the roster, don’t expect Perry to be the return specialist (though he’s done it all his career). That title belongs to Andre Roberts — a 2018 All-Pro returner that the Bills poached from the Jets. Instead, he would primarily see snaps on defensive special team duties. For his career, Perry has tallied 22 total tackles and two forced fumbles on the third team.

If Perry does make the roster as a back, it would be a surprise. He’s shifty, but his frame isn’t ideal for the position — 6-foot, 187-pounds. He’s only received eight rush attempts for a total of 30 yards in the NFL, mostly in part due to his skinny frame. With Roberts on board and with his lack of versatility on offense, Perry has an uphill battle to make the 53-man roster. But, it’s not totally out of the realm of possibility.
