56. . Quarterback. Ohio State. Dwayne Haskins. 9. player

TRADE: Buffalo receives No. 11 and No. 72; Cincinnati receives No. 9 and No. 228

Finally, with a new head coach in Cincinnati and the old guard moving on, the Bengals need to hit the reset button. They can add a local product that would go over well with fans and he can sit a year or two behind Andy Dalton and develop. By the time he is ready, the team should be made over into what new head coach Zac Taylor wants.

Previous Pick: Dwayne Haskins (picked at No. 11)

48. . Linebacker. LSU. Devin White. 10. player

Tampa Bay makes a gamble to trade back and cashes in. They get the linebacker to fill the void left by Kwon Alexander. Although I prefer Devin Bush to Devin White, I believe White fits their scheme better. White covers ground fast and has quality pass coverage skills. They pick up an extra day two pick to address other needs and allow Bruce Arians to put a stamp on his new team.

Previous Pick: Devin White (picked at No. 5)

. Tight End. Iowa. T.J. Hockenson. 11. player. 16

Have I mentioned before how this is my dream scenario? If not, this is my dream scenario.

I would love to have the Bills able to trade down due to a run on quarterbacks, acquire picks, and still get my number one target. Hockenson is the type of weapon that Buffalo has never had and one that can create immense matchup issues on the offensive side of the ball. I love his skill-set and I believe his ability as a blocker helps put him over the top for someone like Sean McDermott.

Going tight end here over defensive or offensive line is the right move because I think if the Bills really wanted a defensive lineman, they could go get someone like Jerry Tillery or Jeffery Simmons later in the first. Also, the best two interior lineman in the class are already gone at this point, so it isn’t a difficult choice to go with Hockenson.

Previous Pick: T.J. Hockenson (picked at No. 15)

. Tackle. Florida. Jawaan Taylor. 12. player. 49

PROTECT AARON RODGERS!

This guy does that. He mauls defenders in the run game and has held his own in protection while playing against elite talent in the SEC. I believe he needs to work on technique to be a top tackle in the NFL, but he fits the need at No. 12 overall.

Previous Pick: Jonah Williams

player. 59. . Edge. Florida State. Brian Burns. 13

Josh Allen, Sam Darnold, and Tom Brady all play in the same division as the Dolphins, so adding a way to combat those three would be massive. Burns is one of the most underrated edge rushers in the draft and doesn’t quite get the love as the other guys up front, but he can certainly be a difference-maker. Adding Burns won’t truly derail the Dolphins plans to tank this season and add a key piece for the future.

Previous Pick: Brian Burns

Washington. Andre Dillard. 14. player. 52. . Tackle

Dillard is one of the top risers in the draft and you could very well see him go as the top offensive lineman in the class. He is athletic and powerful, but still raw and can continue to develop into one mean player. Jacksonville could have stayed at No. 7 and taken Taylor, but instead acquire picks and are able to take one of the better lineman to help out newly acquired Nick Foles.

Previous Pick: Jawaan Taylor (picked at No. 7)

Jonah Williams. 15. player. 10. . Offensive Line. Alabama

TRADE: Washington receives No. 23, No. 55; Houston receives No. 15

By ignoring their offensive line in free agency, Houston needs to make a move. Armed with multiple second-round picks, the Texans need to make a move and get up and grab Jonah Williams to protect Deshaun Watson at all costs. Williams can be anything from a franchise left tackle to a Pro-Bowl guard. His versatility and consistency up front will make him Watson’s new best friend.

Previous Pick: Dalton Risner (picked at No. 23)

Offensive Line. Oklahoma. Cody Ford. 16. player. 50.

Detroit is the most realistic team to trade down in the draft. They have several needs but have a quarterback, so they opted to do so. Continuing the recent trend of taking linemen early, the massive Cody Ford is the selection. Cody Ford is a guy I’m not too high on. Often his opponent was gassed because of the air raid system, so he took advantage of some pretty weak competition. Coach Patricia wants to build a bully in Detroit so this mammoth can help with that.

Previous Pick: Rashaan Gary (picked at No. 8)
