The 2019 NFL preseason schedule has been released for every team and the Buffalo Bills even landed a game in primetime this year.

The AAF is no more but fans of the league will see some familiar faces when NFL football returns this August in the form of the preseason.

The entire slate of preseason games was announced Tuesday and the Buffalo Bills have one game in particular that stands out.

One day after I wrote about the Bills potentially getting some primetime action in the regular season it is revealed that the team will be taking on the Detroit Lions in some primetime preseason madness.

Aside from that one game there is not too much to go wild about. That excitement will come when the regular season schedule is finally released.

The cool thing about the primetime game against the Lions is that in comes in the third week of preseason play. That means fans all over the nation will get a look at the starters for at least half of the game and likely a bit more. This is obviously more exciting news to Bills and Lions fans.

Perhaps this primetime game is a sign of things to come.

We look at this news and more in today’s edition of The Morning Charge.

Buffalo Bills News:

3 potential primetime opponents in 2019 (BuffaLowDown, Steven Kubitza)

The Bills had a primetime game in 2018 that likely came thanks to a playoff appearance the season before. The 6-10 record last year was tough but the team is seemingly getting better and that should mean at least one primetime game in 2019, if not more.
