The Buffalo Bills made a lot of key additions this offseason and that hard work is being recognized from people outside Buffalo.

The Buffalo Bills entered free agency needing help all over the offense. Brandon Beane responded by bringing in new players at every position other than quarterback.

This has all come before the NFL Draft, meaning a full offseason grade would be incomplete.

So in terms of just free agency, the Bills have done great. That is reflected in an article on Bleacher Report written by Maurice Moton. The article features Moton handing out awards for free agency and he chooses the Bills as the runner-up in the category of “best offseason.” The Bills finished behind the New York Jets.

It is great to see the Bills getting national recognition for the work being done this offseason. Perhaps that means everyone around the country won’t act shocked if the Bills are in the playoff hunt in 2019. Yet I doubt that would be the case considering Josh Allen jokes still exist.

The good news is that Bills fans know the front office is actively working to improve and the goal is to compete this season. The team has essentially added a whole new offensive line before the draft, along with several new pass-catchers and a running back.

2018 was all about getting the quarterback of the future. 2019 is about surrounding him with talent on offense and creating a foundation that could be here for years to come.

Next. A potential trade in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. dark

The hope is that Bills fans will be feeling even better one month from now. The draft will be over and it will be time to grade the entire offseason. It is hard to believe that anything will be done to kill the momentum built up so far by the front office.
