The Buffalo Bills could look to add more picks by moving out of the No. 9 overall slot in the 2019 NFL Draft. A recent article shared one trade possibility.

The quarterback hype always builds as the NFL Draft approaches.

While any given draft class may seem to be lacking in quarterback talent, teams are still going to take a few in the first round. Luckily, the Buffalo Bills are not one of those teams in 2019.

The Bills do own the No. 9 overall pick and that is a prime spot for a team to get desperate and make a trade in order to acquire a signal-caller. That is exactly what happened in the four-round mock draft posted by Chad Reuter of NFL.com.

Reuter has the Miami Dolphins trading up to No. 9 from pick No. 13 in a swap with the Bills. He then has the Dolphins taking Dwayne Haskins, while the Bills go for Ed Oliver. I’m not sure Oliver will fall that far, but this sure would be a great deal for the Bills if it were to come true.

Such a trade also brings more picks in return. That would be a huge win for Brandon Beane if it only costs moving down a few spots in the draft.

The Dolphins appear to be the most likely option to move up. Teams like the Cincinnati Bengals and the Washington Redskins could use a young quarterback, but both teams have situations where it may not make sense to spend a first-round pick on a quarterback in 2019.

Such a trade may not come until the night of the draft. The Bills may want to see how the board goes before making any moves, even if it is only down four spots. Beane was active making trades last year so it remains likely he looks to keep making moves in order to continue his process and improve the Bills through the NFL Draft.
