8. Week 2: Chargers 31, Bills 20

The home opener is always a big party. Too bad this party was over by halftime.

The Bills entered this Week 2 matchup after getting absolutely destroyed on the road in Week 1. To the surprise of no one, Nathan Peterman did so poorly in his Week 1 start that Josh Allen got the start in Week 2.

The rookie did alright in his first start, but the Bills trailed 28-6 at halftime. That is not at ideal way to kick off the home slate.

The most memorable moment from this game was that Vontae Davis retired at halftime. Remember that? The jokes began flying and the Bills were only 0-2.

7. Week 9: Bears 41, Bills 9

This was the worst blowout at home all year, but I put the home opener first due to all the hype that surrounds the first game.

This loss marked four straight for the Bills. Peterman got the start and proceeded to throw three interceptions. He also ended up as the leading rusher with 47 yards on the day.

The Bears were up 28-0 at halftime in this one and I can’t imagine Peterman gave an inspiring halftime speech. At least no one retired at halftime in this game.
