Sean McDermott has officially been the head coach of the Buffalo Bills for two years. His tenure has seen both good and bad things.

While four NFL teams remain in search of a Super Bowl victory this year, Sean McDermott and the Buffalo Bills are busy preparing for next season.

McDermott’s two-year anniversary with the team was just a few days ago, making it easy to look back upon his short tenure to pick out both the good and the bad. Both are rather easy to select.

The good obviously comes from him reaching the postseason in his first year in town. That is hard to do with any team, let alone in Buffalo where so many coaches failed to break what had become a painfully long playoff drought.

Then there is the bad. Blowouts, a losing season, Nathan Peterman. The whole Peterman debacle began in 2017 and was a glaring mark against McDermott until his team reached the playoffs.

Winning solves everything.

McDermott’s first two years in town is just one Bills-related storyline from over the weekend. We have others here for you in a Monday edition of The Morning Charge.

In good news, I will be saying “Friday edition” in just a few days!
