2. Rematch with the Ravens

The Bills have lost their last two matchups against the Ravens by a combined score of 60-10 (13-7 in 2016, 47-3 in 2018 ). Both of these games were held in Baltimore, but now the Bills finally get to have them at home.

I picked this game as a matchup to watch closely because the Ravens are almost a guaranteed team to make a playoff run toward the end of the season. If the Bills can put themselves ahead of the Ravens in a playoff race, it would set them up for a great run toward the postseason.

Both teams have their young quarterbacks of the future. Lamar Jackson stepped in Week 11 for Joe Flacco and captured the AFC North title. With Jackson’s playmaking abilities and his standout defense containment, the Ravens can become the real deal. The Bills cannot afford to make any mistakes against this physical squad.

Let’s not forget that it was the Bills who snuck into the 2017 playoffs behind a Ravens loss to the Bengals. The only way to compete with one of the best defenses and now an electric dual-threat quarterback is to play smart and smash-mouth football.

This game should be a physical one between the two teams. What would make it a very defensive game? Playing it in snowy weather.
