Buffalo Bills fans saw Kyle Williams play his final regular season game in Week 17, but he will be suiting up one more time in the Pro Bowl.

Buffalo Bills fans may have thought they saw the last of Kyle Williams in the Week 17 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

No so fast!

Williams was named as an alternate to the Pro Bowl and today brought some great news:

The veteran will suit up one more time as he will appear in his sixth Pro Bowl. A free vacation is quite a nice way to leave the NFL.

The Bills arguably had several Pro Bowl snubs so it is at least good to see Williams make it in. Out of anyone on the roster, this game may mean the most to him since it will be the final game he plays in the NFL. Those snubbed can sit at home and avoid more wear and tear this year.

The Pro Bowl is not something most fans circle on their calendar. It has had its ups and downs but Bills fans will have plenty of interest this year.

I’m sure the broadcast will focus in on Williams, or at least I hope that happens. He will get another send-off and hopefully we see him get involved on offense like he did in Week 17. A touchdown reception would be a great finish to an amazing career.

This is a great honor because it is not like Williams is only in the game because he is retiring. He earned a spot and is leaving the game at a high level. That is an honorable way to go and I wish him all the best both in this game and as soon as he finally hangs up his pads for good.
