The Buffalo Bills had a rough day in New England on Sunday. That and more in a Christmas Eve edition of The Morning Charge.

Well that wasn’t an exciting game.

The Buffalo Bills went to New England and left with another defeat, falling to 5-10 on the year.

Today is Christmas Eve so hopefully hanging out with distant relatives can get everyone’s mind off the loss. That or some casual wine drinking.

The game was controlled by the Patriots, yet the Bills had plenty of opportunities to make it a close game. That is the difference between this Bills team and a playoff team. Too many mistakes are made, which will hopefully serve as learning experiences for the young players on the roster.

The Bills will have to eventually start beating the Patriots if an AFC East crown is ever to be won. The players know that and the goal is for Brandon Beane’s plan to lead to great things. It will be time to seek better results in 2019.

It’s Christmas Eve so let’s get right to the stories surrounding the Bills after the Week 16 loss. In good news, the draft position improved. If you care about such things.

You may have noticed that LeSean McCoy didn’t get the start against the Patriots. Apparently there was a reason behind the move.

Some more extended thoughts from Week 16.

I hope everyone can have a great holiday and maybe open some early Bills-related gifts. I’m sure a lot of Josh Allen jerseys will be handed out over the next few days.
