Buffalo Bills fans have seen LeSean McCoy deal with injuries throughout the 2018 season, but he appears ready to go for Sunday in New England.

It has not been a great season for LeSean McCoy, yet he can still be a weapon for the Buffalo Bills when healthy.

McCoy missed last Sunday’s game after leaving early in the previous matchup against the New York Jets.

That left his status for the game in New England in question, until McCoy made his status clear earlier today.

This is good news considering McCoy is still a future Hall of Famer who is capable of having a breakout performance at any given time.

The veteran didn’t do much the first time the Bills and the Patriots met this season, rushing for 13 yards on 12 carries. Fans just need to remember the fact that game featured Derek Anderson at quarterback, allowing the Patriots to focus plenty of attention on McCoy.

Unfortunately, games like that have been a trend for McCoy in 2018. He has only eclipsed the 100-yard mark once and only has two touchdowns on the year. That all came in the blowout win over the Jets in what was the best game of the team’s season.

McCoy is still not a reliable fantasy option but he is a living legend and could help lead the team to victory in New England. The Bills are obviously not going to the playoffs this season, yet a win on the road against the Patriots would be close to a postseason victory in terms of the magnitude of the win.
