The Buffalo Bills dealt with several injuries throughout Sunday’s loss to the Jets, including one that is ending a player’s season.
Any Buffalo Bills loss is frustrating for fans. The frustration only builds when a loss brings injuries with it as well.
LeSean McCoy left the game before he could do much of anything and was declared out with a hamstring injury. Then Stephen Hauschka got cheap-shotted and appeared to be in pain throughout the second half.
But the most notable, and most gruesome, injury of all came at the end of the game when Matt Milano had his foot turned the wrong way after it was pinned under a player while making a tackle. He was carted off and the Bills gave up the lead right after.
Sean McDermott provided fans with the bad news about Milano earlier today.

This unfortunately ends a great season for Milano, and takes away the possibility of him appearing in the Pro Bowl.
As you can see from the update, McCoy’s status will be watched throughout the week. The same is true for the kicker.

This is the time of the season when many teams are dealing with injuries. The Bills had been lucky enough to avoid any major ones for most of the year, but that obviously changed on Sunday. The hope now is that Milano recovers fully and is ready to go next season.
He has emerged as a key piece on defense and his absence would loom large, as it will over the final three games.
Tremaine Edmunds now has a chance to step up and become more of a leader on defense over the final three games. That is some amazing experience for someone still too young to order a drink.
