The latest 2019 NFL mock draft from FanSided has the Buffalo Bills adding another top talent at cornerback to add to an already strong secondary.

Let the mock drafts continue!

The Buffalo Bills aren’t in the basement of the NFL, but are still picking near the top of the 2019 NFL Draft with the current record of 4-8. A win over the New York Jets on Sunday can change that, yet we know the team will still be picking in the top half of the first round.

That is reflected in the latest 2019 NFL mock draft from FanSided, written by Brad Weiss. The Bills select No. 8 overall and go with Andraez Williams, a cornerback out of LSU.

From the article:

"Williams is a guy who is going to be the first corner off the board next April, and pairing him with Tre’Davious White, their first round pick from 2017, would give the Bills the best cornerback tandem in the AFC East. The division has been owned by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, so it would make sense to bring in a guy who can slow down the Pats passing attack."

This is an interesting selection and goes away from what we have seen in recent mock drafts, where the Bills focus on the offensive line.

Adding another top corner would not be a bad move in any sense and would only add to the top pass defense in football. It just comes down to who is available at the pick and how Brandon Beane views the other holes on the roster more glaring than corner.

Some fans may not like this pick but it is not like the team will only find talent at the top of the draft. Avoiding busts is the ultimate goal, and that comes down to the scouting process.

What do you think of taking a top corner with the first pick? Would it be smart to make the secondary even better, or are there other positions that need to be addressed first?
