Buffalo Bills fans have seen some initial success from Josh Allen in 2018. This puts him at the level of some other rookies from his draft class.

Everyone had an opinion when it came to the quarterbacks in the 2018 draft class.

The Buffalo Bills weren’t at the top of the draft, but were expected to trade up to grab a quarterback. That was exactly what happened when the Bills moved up to the No. 7 overall pick and took Josh Allen, making the young man the third quarterback taken in the draft.

So far Allen hasn’t put up any insane numbers, such as what we have seen with Baker Mayfield in Cleveland. But he has led his team to several victories and bounced back nicely on Sunday after missing several weeks with an injury.

Pro Football Focus tweeted out these grades today:

As expected, Mayfield is at the top of the list. He was the No. 1 pick in the draft and is playing like it.

But after that, the Bills are in good shape considering so much hype surrounded both Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold.

Allen has been looking better as time goes on and isn’t far behind the other two. In my opinion, he has looked better than both Rosen and Darnold. He also has the ability to be a powerful runner, which gives him a whole other dynamic for defenses to focus on.

All four of the quarterbacks in that tweet are in situations where their respective teams didn’t enter the season with championship expectations. All four teams are seeking to develop the young quarterbacks and hope that the experience in 2018 leads to great things in the near future.

dark. Next. 3 keys to victory against the Miami Dolphins in Week 13

Allen has a chance to continue getting better this Sunday against a fading Miami Dolphins team. He could easily set himself behind Mayfield as the second-best rookie quarterback this year with another solid game and a victory.
