Three memorable wins
The Bills season has featured several brutal losing streaks. But there have been three exciting wins mixed in there as well.
The two blowout losses to start the year may have had some preparing for 0-16. Then Josh Allen came in and led the team to a shocking 27-6 victory in Minnesota. That was followed up with a disappointing 22-0 loss in Green Bay, only for the Bills to pull out a 13-12 victory the following week at home.
That had optimism high with a 2-3 record. Unfortunately, we know that four frustrating losses followed.
But enter Matt Barkley and there was a reason to smile again.
I am not advocating that fans should be happy-go-lucky and ignore the seven losses. Yet in the midst of a tough season, it is important to at least be momentarily excited about the positives. If you only get angry about the losses, it will be a long winter for you.
The crazy thing is that the Bills have started four different quarterbacks in the first 10 games of the season. Now that Allen is healthy again, it is possible he is the starter for the final six games.
That type of consistency, and a somewhat easy schedule, should lead to a few more memorable performances this year.
