Terrelle Pryor was signed by the Buffalo Bills recently, only to be released after having a minimal impact in two games with the team.

Buffalo Bills fans rejoiced at the start of this week when Nathan Peterman was released.

The reaction may be a bit more tame with the latest news.

Straight to the point. I like it.

Bills fans hardly got to know Terrelle Pryor as he only appeared in two games for the team. He didn’t record a reception Sunday in what could have been a big revenge game for him against the New York Jets. If you recall, the Jets cut him just a few weeks ago.

Instead, Robert Foster and Zay Jones had big days. The young receivers getting a majority of the looks likely means the team wants to keep that trend going for the remainder of the season.

Pryor did record two catches in the blowout loss to the Chicago Bears, but it was hard to remember much on offense from that disaster of a game. His tenure in Buffalo will now fade away into the realm of sports trivia.

Pryor should easily find himself on another team soon. Or maybe he decides to take it easy for the remainder of the year and get healthy for the 2019 season. Either way, he won’t be out of a job for good.

This news likely had some Bills fans hoping it would instead be Kelvin Benjamin who was released. That is, the team’s supposed number one receiver who had zero catches on Sunday. And it’s not like it was a rough day for the offense.

Next. The Nathan Peterman experiment is officially over. dark

The receiving corps has been an issue all year. However, Matt Barkley showed that there is the ability for big games with some competent quarterback play. Let’s hope that can continue with Josh Allen back in as the starter.
