The Buffalo Bills could use some help along the offensive line and that is the focus for the team in the latest 2019 FanSided NFL mock draft.

A 2-7 start to the season means Buffalo Bills fans can begin wondering about who the team will select early in the 2019 NFL Draft.

If the playoffs aren’t an option, at least a high draft pick is the consolation prize for a team near the bottom of the standings.

And as we await the latest quarterback news for Sunday, let’s take a look at the latest FanSided NFL mock draft.

The Bills show up at No. 4 overall, which could change as the year goes on, and select offensive tackle Greg Little with the pick:

"When it comes time for the Bills to select in the first round next April, they are going to be picking early, and should do something to bolster the offensive line. The loss of Cordy Glenn has been a glaring hole on their offensive line, so adding a player like Greg Little from Ole Miss makes a lot of sense.Little is big enough, and strong enough to start on the left side as a rookie, and that is really saying something. If the Bills ever want Allen to be a productive quarterback, they have to make crucial investments in the offensive line this offseason, and Little is a piece that can be a cornerstone for years to come."

It makes perfect sense to target an offensive lineman in the 2019 draft. The team selected Josh Allen this year which takes care of the most important position on the field. And as we have seen all year, he will need some better talent in front of him to be successful.

It is always tricky drafting offensive linemen. There is the potential of the player being a bust and not being able to adjust to the NFL game, although that is a possibility with any player. It is just hard to gauge with linemen who go up against college competition who are then expected to go stand in front of someone like Von Miller or Myles Garrett.

The Bills may continue moving up in the draft order, but I expect offensive line to remain the top focus. Wide receiver is another position to target, but the team won’t have success in the passing game if the line is still struggling in 2019.

Next. Barkley could potentially suit up as the Week 10 starter. dark

That makes this mock draft selection a solid one, at least on paper.
