The Buffalo Bills may be without one of the offense’s best players Monday night just one day before the NFL’s trade deadline.

The Buffalo Bills are already massive underdogs this week. Take LeSean McCoy out of the starting lineup and things may only be more difficult.

The latest injury updates out of Buffalo list McCoy as questionable for Monday’s game. He is in the concussion protocol and his status will likely be unknown until Monday night.

Luckily, teams are smarter now and a player with concussion symptoms won’t be thrown right back into a game. This is an interesting situation because if the plan is to trade McCoy, perhaps the team holds him out of action as a precaution.

McCoy has established himself enough to where teams interested in him don’t need to see what he can do against the Patriots. They would just want him healthy.

The only players out on Sunday are Josh Allen, Taiwan Jones and Trent Murphy. It is a shame that Murphy is still dealing with injuries, but that was the risk in signing him.

The refreshing injury news is that Allen is simply out on a weekly basis instead of on the injured reserve. The initial fear was that he could miss the remainder of the year and even more with his elbow injury. Instead, he should be back at some point this season.

With the trade deadline approaching, Monday night could feature some players playing their last game in a Bills uniform. Will that include a healthy McCoy?

We shall see. Another player to watch on the trade market is Kelvin Benjamin, although I can’t imagine that too many Bills fans would be upset to see him go.
