The Buffalo Bills are looking to pick up a Week 7 victory with Derek Anderson as the starting quarterback. Just as we all expected.

Buffalo Bills fans may still be recovering after last week’s brutal loss in Houston.

But the nice thing about football is that a new Sunday brings a new opportunity to turn things around.

The Bills are taking on a lowly Indianapolis Colts team today as Derek Anderson makes his Bills debut.

Here are the inactives for the game:

Once again, no major surprises on this list. The most notable name is that of Josh Allen, who is luckily not out for the remainder of the season. But depending on how Anderson does, Allen may be learning from the sideline for the next few months.

It is hard to predict what will happen in this one, at least on offense. Anderson has not been a regular starter this decade so it would be fair to expect a heavy dose of LeSean McCoy and Chris Ivory in this game. Then again, Anderson is a veteran so it is not like he needs to be eased into NFL action like a rookie.

The storylines are plentiful today so be sure to comment on this post to take part in our live game thread. It is a game where Anderson could become a Buffalo hero, or just another player to pass through town.

Be sure to comment here and reach out to us on Twitter throughout today’s game. The good news in this one is that Nathan Peterman is not starting, so there is still some hope of the victory. The defense has also looked elite as of late, so the sky isn’t falling just yet.

Next. Containing the Colts and more keys to a Week 7 victory. dark

Let’s just hope that I can write about that same mentality tonight after the game.
