4. Take the crowd out of it early

One of the biggest advantages the Vikings have on Sunday is their home-field advantage. For years (in both their old and new stadiums) the Vikings are known to have some of the most loud and rabid fans in the NFL.

You know that they will be fired up early in the game thinking that they are facing a severely inferior opponent and rookie quarterback. They will be loud and try to force the Bills offense into mistakes and they will be loud and try to rattle the Bills defense when they make big plays on offense. Yes, they will be loud.

However, the best counter attack to a loud home-field crowd is to take them out of the game early. Whether that is by scoring early and forcing a three-and-out or scoring early and forcing a turnover, the Bills need to try to make some plays early and get an early lead to try to take the crowd out of it. It is nearly impossible to ever totally take a rabid crowd like they have in Minnesota out of a game, but every little bit helps. And every little bit that they fall off is helpful to a rookie quarterback like Josh Allen.

Allen will surely have his hands full in his first road start and it may be hard to hear and call the plays and snap at times but if the Bills can manage to take the crowd out of it early (even just a little bit) it will go a long way in helping him and in turn helping the Bills get the upset victory.
