The Buffalo Bills take on the Cincinnati Bengals this afternoon live on national television with Josh Allen getting his first start this preseason.

Two weeks from now we will be watching some regular season Buffalo Bills football.

But today’s game will still have fans excited.

The Bills are set to take on the Cincinnati Bengals live on FOX this afternoon. That makes the viewer guide much simpler in this one as Bills fans all across the country are able to watch.

I am personally intrigued to watch the Bills on a national broadcast to see how the team is covered. It is easy to get used to hometown coverage in the preseason, which is always a bit more favorable than what will be seen and heard during the regular season.

The main focus of the broadcast should be Josh Allen as the rookie steps onto the field with the chance to win the starting job. Quite the move up the depth chart after being listed as the third quarterback just a few weeks ago.

We will also see plenty of highlights of Andy Dalton’s miraculous touchdown pass from last season that got the Bills into the postseason. He may be more liked in Buffalo than he is in Cincinnati. The same goes for the Bengals in general.

As stated above, the game is on FOX. So if you have family members who call frantically asking what channel the Bills are on, you can calm them immediately and not have to explain that it isn’t on in their area. Maybe I’m the only one who deals with this problem.
