The Buffalo Bills report to training camp today without any unnecessary holdouts. That and more in today’s Morning Charge.

Josh Allen waited until the final day but signed his contract with the Buffalo Bills before the start of training camp. Distraction avoided.

Allen will be on the field today when the team opens training camp, avoiding a holdout that would have only hurt his chances of winning the starting job this season. Let the competition begin.

Some fans may have started to worry about the fact he hadn’t signed but no one will think about it too much anymore now that he is signed before camp. Such is life during a slow offseason.

In some other great news, it was announced yesterday that Jim Kelly is cancer free. It is easy to get caught up in an on-the-field mindset as camp is beginning. But this news is bigger than football and it is great to see a Buffalo legend be rewarded with some positive health news after fighting so hard against cancer.

And what timing!

We take a look at this and more in today’s edition of The Morning Charge.

Jim Kelly’s wife announced that the latest scans show how her husband is cancer free. That is just amazing news. Kelly goes on stage a week ago to inspire a nation and now he is getting his health back, while staying positive through it all. What a special human being.
