Buffalo Bills News: Training camp set to begin this week
The Buffalo Bills are finally set to begin training camp after a relatively quiet offseason. That and more in today’s Morning Charge.
Welcome to the final few days without Buffalo Bills football in 2018.
The Bills don’t play a regular season game until September 9 but the season officially gets underway this Thursday when training camp finally opens.
This means we can stop guessing who will win position battles and instead just watch players battle it out themselves. Of course, that won’t stop the debates, especially when it comes to quarterback.
One thing still of note as we approach training camp is that Josh Allen is still unsigned. Saquon Barkley just signed his deal so maybe that gets things going. Or Allen is planning to sign before Thursday regardless.
Aside from Allen, the other obvious storyline to follow is what will happen with LeSean McCoy. He has not been charged with anything so he may just go through camp like nothing has happened until there is a final say on the matter.
So even after a relatively quiet offseason there are some storylines to follow surrounding players at the top positions on the team. This is before we even get into the new-look offensive line and the wide open competition at wide receiver. And this is only the offense.
Here’s a look at the latest news surrounding the Bills in a Monday edition of The Morning Charge.
