The Buffalo Bills didn’t make any major moves following the NFL Draft so their projected win total for the 2018 season remains conservative.

The Buffalo Bills won nine games last season so naturally there is some optimism surrounding the team heading into the 2018 season. That should mean some easy bets can be placed by Bills fans.

Bovada released their latest win total odds for the 2018 NFL season, shared here on OddsShark, and the Bills are sitting at an over/under of 6.5 wins.

At first glance, some Bills fans may be terribly insulted. Only 6.5 wins?!?

Well, I would consider that quite the fair win total projection when considering how many questions surround the team this season. And the fact the Bills haven’t had back-to-back seasons over the .500 mark since 1998-1999. The team has, however, won at least seven games each of the last four seasons.

If I were a betting man, in a betting state, I would take the over on this. I am not declaring the Bills to be set for a 12-4 season, but there is no reason why this team should not win at least seven games.

The questions at quarterback surely lower this projected win total, but at least one of the three quarterbacks on the roster should be able to win seven games with the rest of the roster around them.

Bad quarterback play can doom playoff hopes, but talent should be able to guide the team to at least seven wins. To be fair, I am saying this before seeing how the quarterbacks do at training camp. But optimism remains high right now!

So what do you think? Are you willing to take the over on this win total? I almost feel like as a fan, you have to take the over. If not, you set yourself up for a miserable time. The team wins and you lose money. The team loses and…the team loses.
