Buffalo Bills: Jim Kelly recovering after latest surgery

Buffalo Bills legend Jim Kelly underwent a follow-up surgery Thursday and the initial word from his wife is that he is doing well and recovering.

Buffalo Bills great Jim Kelly is set to receive an ESPY award next month, but first came some more surgery.

Kelly underwent another procedure Thursday and Bills fans were waiting to hear an update. His wife, Jill Kelly, provided an update on Instagram that said he is still in pain, but is now recovering.

Kelly could easily be doing all this privately, but him and his family continue to provide updates and inspirational messages throughout the process. That takes a special person and a special family to remain positive throughout this process, but that is why Kelly is so loved in Buffalo.

The good news from this latest update is that Kelly is in recovery. The surgery he went through was rather brutal, and as his wife said it involves some pain. That is why it will be amazing the next time Kelly appears at a Bills game. The cheers may register seismic activity.
