35. . Defensive End. Boston College. Harold Landry. 25. player

Vrabel knows that there is a lack of pass rushers in Tennessee that needs to be addressed. In order to secure a premier pass rusher, the Titans may have to trade up. Landry falls here so they stay put.

The Titans will select Landry to help add youth to their pass rush. Derrick Morgan and Brian Orakpo aren’t getting any younger and are great veterans that can help Landry along with his development. (Justin)

Previous Pick: Marcus Davenport

Alabama. Da'Ron Payne. 26. player. 44. . Defensive Tackle

Payne is big and nasty and can slide in immediately at defensive tackle. Dontari Poe recently left to sign with the Carolina Panthers and with him comes a big body in the middle of the defensive line that does a little bit of everything.

Payne can provide a rush from the middle and help collapse the pocket from the inside out. On the other hand he can take on blockers and break into a backfield to stop running backs in their tracks or open up opportunities for linebackers behind him.

Selecting Payne would allow the Falcons to build around another young piece in the middle of their defense. They need to defend against the likes of Cam Newton, Drew Brees, Jameis Winston and others. Payne can help do that. (Stephen)

Previous Pick: Baltimore traded back and selected Courtland Sutton

Tight End. Penn State. Mike Gesicki. 27. player. 15.

The Saints have been looking for a Jimmy Graham replacement since they traded him to Seattle. This year they opt to find that guy. The decision will come down to Mike Gesicki and Dallas Goedert. Both offer a blend of size, speed, and hands that will be too good to pass up at No. 27.

Gesicki tested better at the combine and has reportedly gotten faster in his workouts. He could be a great weapon for Drew Brees down the middle of the field. (Justin)
